Why is it that...

Lately I have been dreading this time of year, the late winter and early spring. I can Honestly say that I hate it. Last year I was barely pregnant at this time which means I was very very sick. On top of that I got the flu which made for a long winter/spring. So, why is it that memories of clothes you wore, smells, foods, season, even TV shows can cause you to hate them because you were so miserably sick with morning sickness??? Today my feelings increased and confirmed that I really am having a hard time with this. I woke up so incredibly sick and spent most of my morning in the bathroom. I feel so bad for Oliver. He hasn't been getting much play time today. I never knew how hard it would be to be sick and have to take care of a baby while your so miserable. So for now, lets just hope that I can keep the Gatorade, sprite and pretzels down and pray that someday my hatred for this time of year will pass...

Ugh. I am sorry your sick. Now it is my turn to repay you. Do you need me to go to the store for you? I have some extra gatorade from our week of sickness or some pedialyte pops! I hope it is only a 24 hour bug and nothing longer....

I hope you feel better soon. If you have any ginger you should take some it really helps with upset tummys.

Oh I am sorry you are sick. I know that feeling though, sometimes even songs can make me sick when I listened to them during my pregnancy. Feel better!

Oooh, I am terribly sorry. I remember the first time I got pretty sick when Peter was a baby. He only weighed about 8 lbs at the time but I swear I could barely lift him.

sending healthy vibes your way!

I can't imagine having morning sickness, but I know what it feels like to be pregnant. I can bring you some delicious beverages if you would like.

I totally agree with you about the time of year. I think January is the worst month of the year! Hope you feel better soon! Try some ginger ale--it got me through a lot of morning sickness! -B
