Bon Appetit

After having this box sitting in our kitchen for a couple of months...yes, that is 2 months, I decided to open it and finally use my new cookware.

In Bon Appetit magazine it says that the 2 most important places to spend money in the kitchen are knives and cookware with cookware being first. Good cookware does make a huge difference whether you're a professional, or terrible cook that wants to be better...like me.

Check out the difference between my old and new pan.
So what did we decide to make first in our fancy shmancy pan? Something gourmet and incredibly difficult yet impressive?

We made hot dogs! Brazilian-Esq I might add just to give it a touch of that fancy schmancy element we were missing.
And for the record, dinner was fantastic and finger lickin' good. I guess good cookware does make a difference...

I totally agree--the 2 things we've really spent money on are my pans and my knives and I've never been sorry!
