Weeks 24-30

24 Weeks!
So excited to get to this point in my pregnancy. I took the glucose test and passed with flying colors (said my Doctor). I remember the drink tasting so much better with Oliver. This time is was so gross, but I downed it like it was my job.

So many smuggling pumpkin jokes, but I really don't mind.

Dressed up as a Zombie Hunter. I thought about having two babies popping out of my belly, but I thought it was overdone and after spending so much time with the boys make-up, I was spent and this ended up being the perfect costume.

 26 weeks
Feeling great and loving my bump! My belly has really started to stretch and the itching belly has begun. Bring on those stretch marks. We also set up the babies room this week. Makes it feel more real when we actually have a place to put them now.

27 weeks!
Karina took my maternity pictures this week. She always does such an amazing job and I can't wait to see how they turn out.

Just a small sampling of my pictures from her...

  28 weeks.
We had an ultra sound this week. Babies are measuring right on. Baby A is still the baby that doesn't like to smile for the camera/ultrasound tech. That baby weighed in at 2 lbs 6 oz. Baby B was so cooperative at the Ultrasound...like always. This is my bigger baby weighing 2 lbs 11oz.

Week 29
I sleep well for the most part, but every single night I have to rotate back and forth between my right and left side so that my hips don't ache as bad. Some nights I just can't sleep at all and most nights I wake up to either stretch out my nearly cramping legs/feet or because I can't breathe due to my acid reflux. Needless to say, I wake up pretty tired every morning, not wanting to get out of bed just yet. All in the name of love, I say.

 Week 30
Feeling pretty great except for the acid reflux, but that's not too bad. My doctor said that they will start looking for reasons to start me at around week 37 even if the reason being is that I am too uncomfortable. I can't believe that I may only have 7 more weeks. We grow more and more anxious everyday to meet these babies. They move around like crazy and I love it. Lately, it seems like baby A is more active at night and baby B is more active during the day. Either way, their movement is always welcome and so are the hands of my friends and family on my belly saying hello.

We are so excited to be doing so well. Next up, weekly appointments and the home stretch.
