The Twins are one!

One year olds and I can hardly believe it. It seems like just yesterday I was meeting these babies for the first time.

Briony weighs 20.6 pounds and continues to grow and develop well. She loves to make faces and is friendly to just about anyone that talks to her. My favorite things about her are her is her little giggle, her determination and stubbornness. I love her blonde patch of eyelashes, her crazy teeth, tiny nose and big cheeks. I love watching her explore and let...ting nothing stop her. She is a smart girl and doesn't let anyone push her to do anything she isn't ready for. She has the best little voice and will gab all day long. I love having her as my daughter and I love her more than I thought possible. Milo is one funny boy. He is shy and doesn't like to show his smile until he has warmed up to you. He weighs 24.8 pounds and is healthy and big. My favorite things about Milo are his incredible laugh, his Grandpa Bill hair, the matching birthmarks on his hands, his big droopy cheeks and little pig nose. I love watching him crawl around and stand against anything he can. He loves to play peek-a-boo with his blankets or by hiding his face. I enjoy watching him love on his siblings. I don't like that he enjoys playing with and eating paper (if he can get his hands on it) but it's one of his quirks that make him him. These twins are two of three of my miracle babies and I am so so thankful to have them in my life. It has been one incredibly amazing year. Here's to many more adventures with Briony and Milo.
 To Briony
Girl, you are my joy and bring so much spunk into this house. I already have so much fun with you and seeing the little lady that you are quickly becoming. I love being able to call you my girl and look forward to becoming the best of friends. I see so much of myself in you and hope that you will continue to develop into so much more. You are tenacious and stubborn and so determined to do things on your own terms and how you see fit. I love how you will talk and smile at anyone and let us know that you want to be heard. Bee, you are my world. I never knew that having a daughter would be one of the best things that I live for. I love you more than I can even begin to express and not a day will go by where I wont tell you how much I love you.
Love,
Mom

To Milo,
Oh Milo my sweet sweet baby. I feel that you and I share a common bond being that we are both the babies of our families. You really are the sweetest and I feel privileged that you are in our family. I love squishing your fat and making you smile and laugh. You have the best laugh I have ever heard. You remind me so much of your grandpa Bill and many special and sacred experiences have happened that will always connect you to your grandpa. You already show us how smart you are and even though you are quieter and more shy than your sister, you show so much perseverance. I love watching you quietly move all around the house thinking and figuring out how to do things. You are my big baby and I will never ever stop loving all of you.
Love,
Mom

St. Georging in the new year

As usual, being in paradise with family is what makes these trips so much fun.
The kids were quickly entertained with baby races. They would line Briony and Milo up and see who would crawl to them the fastest. They even set up cones at one point. B and M loved all the attention.

I spent most of the trip sitting in this spot staring at all these puzzle pieces. No one wanted to help me either so I did all this by myself.

Pioneer park to go through the crack, Walk up to the arch, into the cave and this time we didn't go to the bridge because of its dangers and because we had so many little people.

If you have downtime, taking naps is a must especially in the sweet spot (best part of the couch).

But this particular time, miss Oakley wanted to have a photo shoot instead.

yikes! We got fat fast!

We always make sure to make time for a run. It's the best in St. George.
Ugh I am so awkward at posing.
Love these guys. If Luke grown up to be like his dad I'd be okay with that. Two great men right there.

Oh the food. One of the number one rules about going on vacation is leaving your healthy diet at home. We come here to eat!
To bring in the new year. We had the boys stay with us and we stayed up very late with them. Oliver loves his cousins so much!
The boys played Wii miniature golf and I enjoyed listening to them play as I worked some more on that dang puzzle.
And finally at midnight we ran outside to scream "Happy New Year". We also dared the boys to do snow angels.
Aiden and Andrew did.
Finally, we can't bring in the new year without a new years kiss.

The next night we had a viewing of one of our favorite movies, About Time. It was so good to watch especially to start off the new year. We highly recommend it if you haven't seen it.
Amy and I even got a bit teary eyed. Love my people.

We finished off the trip by eating {again} at Don Pedro's. It is simply the best and the Carne Asada plate is also highly recommended.
And just like the the trip comes to an end and we look forward to another time when we get to enjoy our time on Olivertree Drive.
 Cheers to a happy 2015!
