I don't quite know what it is, but I love cowboy stuff. From hats, boots, art, music, and movies...I love it all.
This is my recent find. Old Gringo vintage cowboy boots. Retail price: only $499.99...A girl can dream, right???

A much needed cut
Oh Oliver. He has the funniest hair that I like to blame Luke for. It seriously stands straight up making his head look even bigger. We have been testing out the growth of his hair to see if it will get any better, but no, it hasn't gotten better...infact, it looks worse the longer it gets. So, we made the decision to shave it all off...
Olivers happy to be done, Luke's happy that he doesn't have to take any more pictures, and I'm happy that my boy looks so good with his buzzed head.

The past 12 months
On Saturday we celebrated Oliver's first birthday. I kept saying to myself, "I can't believe it has already been a year" or things like "I year ago I was..." and I'd go talking about what life was like a year ago. Oliver has been so much fun to have in our lives. He has taught me more about myself then I think I ever knew. He has strengthened me and mostly, has made me see life in a whole new perspective. I feel so blessed and honored to have him as my boy.

SEPTEMBER
We had a cowboy themed party with about 18 little kids running around. We had some pizza, a horse pinata, Funny hats and sherrif badges, a cowboy boot rainbow chip cake, ugly singing, loads of presents and a great time. Thank you to everyone who came to celebrate with us. Oliver is sure lucky to have all of you in his life.
Well, he didn't like our singing, maybe next year???

Please do not feed me...
Cottage Cheese!
There isn't much that this boy doesn't eat, so when I fed him cottage cheese and he nearly threw up, I was a little surprised.

Pool party baby...It was a cool party...cool pool party!
I love my YW group! They are so much fun to hang out with. Sometimes I feel like I'm a YW myself, when I'm with these girls. Last night we had a pool party to say goodbye to our old leaders and to welcome our new ones.
We played water volleyball.
Watched the "sunset".
Took loads of pictures. (Kristin is always up to doing this with me)
Had some killer jumps!
Tried to learn how to make a kissy face...I failed miserably!
I realized yesterday at this party how much I love my calling and how much every single person that I have served with and get to serve has impacted my life. Thanks gals! It was a great night!
