RAGNAR!!!

Well, we did it!

And it was one of the best experiences....EVER!

Racing in general is always so much fun to me, but you get a group of girls together that just click well, packed tightly in an SUV, 1.5 hours of sleep and a whole lot of running and you've got the perfect combination for some {killer} memories.

Our team was # 506 and our team name was '123 Not It!' We all got pink shirts and ironed on hand prints in the back that said 'You're It'. I thought our shirts were some of the best out there, but that just may be me being biest.

Thursday night we all met up to do our shopping. I really didn't know what to buy so I spent about 50 bucks worth and ended up eating about $10.00 of it. Following the shopping, we ate a Rumbi Grill and of course it was delish, but sadly, no picture.

And so it begins....

Our team :
{sorry you may not understand some of the names}

Tifney
Our {awesome} driver!

Leg 7: Amy

Leg 8: Kim

Leg 9: Mindy

Leg 10: Martha

Leg 11: Ellen

Leg 12: Liberty

We also ran into some friends

And I was so lucky to have ran this race with the one and only, Amy. Seriously, I don't think I would have ever done this without her.

I don't know what happened to this picture, but picture this:

Amy and I were crossing the finish and we heard "Amy! Amy! Amy" and so we both turned to see Teri and Brad Jensen (Amy's in-laws) in the crowd. I waved too and I heard Teri say "Oh and Kim!" It was so nice to see them there to support their family....and me....sort of ;).

Here is our entire team at the finish!

Go team 123 Not it!!

And of course van 2...the best van out there!

We are already signed up for next year and we plan on all being there in the same van again. Loved loved loved this race! Thanks ladies for such a good time!

Running Bear Lake

The Bear Lake races took place again this past weekend and I was there with 3 of my favorite people to enjoy it.

As usual, Trent and Amy did so good. Trent got 2nd overall in the marathon. Amy got 4th overall in the 10K. I did my worst ever, but I still had a lot of fun and will be back to do it next year....and to do it a lot better.

The racers.

And this year, I got a fan to come along. Maybe next year, I'll get him to run it with us.

Let the Sun Shine!

With temperatures reaching the high 80's

And one boy down for nap time,

This is what we decided to do to enjoy our Sunday afternoon...

Luke in his hammock {the fist exposure of the year} a magazine and the shade.

Me, in the sun, with a good book, new sunglasses, a nectarine and some tanning oil.

And get this...

As I was reading my book, I got a little visitor that stopped to say hello.

{If you know me at all, you know that I love honey bees}

This cute little bee landed on my book long enough for me to snap a picture of it.

Cute, eh?

Happy Summer days!

Here's to many many more just like today.

Rope Up!

This is what our Memorial Weekend consisted of...

CLIMBING!

And Lots of it.

LUKE:

KIM:

KASIDY:

BRITTANY:

I don't have much to say about climbing other than it was awesome and now we have even more reason to visit SG...and become better climbers.

These kids were so good while we were climbing. They played with toys, colored, ate snacks, played in the dirt, ran around and climber over and on big rocks, threw things and got terribly dirty. They rocked!

We did spend some time doing a few other things.

We played at the water park:

Oliver LOVED IT!

We also ate at some favorite places and a new place that I will visit again, The Bear Paw? Claw? Cafe (I may get in trouble for not remembering that one).

We had fun taking a lot of silly pictures.

And hanging out it the almost perfect weather.

The climbing group

Sad to leave sunny SG, but excited with what we had accomplished.
