I CUT!!!!!
This was one of the most nerve racking things I've done in a while and I'm glad I just went with it. A couple of days ago when I had called Stacey to ask her if she would do the honors, I was still questioning it and Stacey was all for it not even thinking twice. SO, yesterday when she came over, I guess I had to be ready. Fortunately, when she was about to make the first and most crucial cut, Luke walked in the door and captured those first moments.
The BEFORE picture. It took 4 years to get it this long
Getting ready to cut away
Here goes...
The first cut. At this point I was so scared and a little sad, but really excited at the same time.
My reaction!!!
The results!
I am so happy that I decided to cut. I already think my life has gotten a little easier. last night I didn't wake up with my hair around my neck and I didn't complain to Luke that he was laying on my hair. I was able to clean without having to pull my hair up and out of the way and Oliver's little hands haven't gotten caught in it. It's been great. I do plan on donating it, so I'm really excited about that. Thanks for all your previous comments and words of encouragement. And a HUGE thank you to Stacey who always does an incredible job. It's been a fun experience!
